ASL Nation Expos and conferences provide the opportunity to connect, share, and educate attendees on their products and services through networking, workshops, and educational seminars. We are committed to providing a safety and deaf-friendly environment for all; therefore, we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the policies listed below. ASL Nation Expo reserves the right to modify and/or update policies as needed.
• Code of Conduct
ASL Nation Expo values all its participants, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff. We are committed to providing a safe, harassment free, and enjoyable environment. In abidance with the Code of Conduct, you agree to the following:
o Professional & Ethical Conduct- I will conduct myself in a professional manner and will not discriminate against any individuals’ race, religion, sex, origin, age, disability, or creed. I will refrain from the use of vulgar language and the wear of any discriminatory attire. I will not engage in any form of harassment, sexualized behavior, and/or activity via social media or at the event.
*If found in violation the offender(s) will forfeit their right to participate and will be barred from future events with no refund*
o Attendees- There will be no refunds of payments. In the event an attendee can not attend, the purchaser may transfer his/her ticket by providing the individual(s) full name and reference number to aslnationexpoinc@gmail.com
o All refund request should be submitted in writing 30 prior of the event date and will be subjected to a $50 processing fee.
• Firearm/Weapon Policy
No weapons are allowed on the premise of the event space or conference area.
• Bag Search
For the safety of the public all bags, carts, and strollers will be subjected to a security search.
• Children
Children 17 and under are permitted to attend free of charge with adult supervision, except for educational seminars to maintain the integrity of the learning environment. Nursing mothers may attend with infants and must be carried in arms or baby carrier.
• Literature/Product Distribution
Organizations or person(s) who are not registered as an exhibitor may not solicit or distribute material and/or products at any time. Exhibitors may only market their organization or companies’ products/services within designated booth area. Any violators of this rule will be requested leave and expelled from attending any future expos.
• Permits, Licenses, Insurance
All Exhibitors are required to obtain their own licensure, permits, liability and property insurance to participate at any event, and shall provide proof of adequate coverage. ASL Nation Expo or respective executive officials, contractors, and employees are not responsible for any damage or loss to any property of Exhibitor, including personal injury, theft, and operation of equipment.
• Photography/Videography
Entering the premises of the expo or conference area, we retain the right to photograph, film, record, or videotape any person without consent or payment. By entering, you waive all rights to the publication, broadcasting or televising of material, in addition to the inspection or approval photos and videos.
• Early Breakdown
All exhibitors are asked to set-up and break down during designated time frames. Anyone seen violating this rule will not be permitted to attend future events.
• Accessibility
ASL Nation Expo strives to be inclusive to all members of the community by providing access to programs and services regardless of one’s disability and/or language. In doing so, we ask requesting participants to email Aslnationexpoinc@gmail.com request 30 prior to event.
